SW System Engineer

Qualifications / Experience

• Excellent and experienced System Engineer with software/hardware development background.
• Experience in writing and reviewing design and specification documents for hardware and software systems
• B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (grade average of 85 and above)
• M.Sc. in computer science, Electrical Engineering or other engineering / science fields is an advantage
• 7+ years of hands-on programming experience in C, C++ on embedded platforms including drivers.
• Experience with embedded operating systems (Windows CE, Embedded Linux, Nucleus/ThreadX RTOS etc.)
• Experience with managing a small group of R&D people.
• Creative, dynamic thinker and open minded
• Fast learner of new technologies and standards.
• Team player.

• Familiar with cryptography, data security, network security (VPN, SSL, IPSec, DRM).
• Experience in developing and analyzing complex embedded systems
• Experience with VLSI design (in Verilog/VHDL)

• 2-5 years of experience in managing customer oriented integration teams in Israel and abroad.
• Mastery of the C / C++ programming language
• Experience with embedded operating systems (such as Symbian, Nucleus, embedded Linux, etc.)
• Experience with outbound activities, working directly with customers

• Customer Oriented
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Fluent in English
• Team player, good communication skills, versatile

• Familiar with cryptography, data security, network security (VPN, SSL, IPSec)
• Experience in developing software for cellular or handheld (PDA) devices

• Participate in customer releases processes
• Perform system tests (automatic tests)
• Manage the tests execution plan, analyzing and reports
• Help with debugging the tested system

• SW Practical engineer
• Flexibility in work hours
• Ability to read code in C

• Experienced in software testing (up to 1 year)
• Experience with testing embedded applications
• Experience and knowledge of embedded environments
• Knowledge of data security (encryption, digital certificates, PKI, VPN, TSL, IPSec)
• Experience with cellular devices
• Experience with the semi-conductors industry

• Participate in design reviews of test plans.
• Participate in customer support process.
• Run manual and automatic system tests.

• Academic degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited university
• Ability to analyze a problem and complete detailed reports.
• Willingness to work extended hours on short notice to meet internal/external customer expectations.

• Experience as a student in QA or SW development team
• Experience with developing testing systems.
• Experience with cellular devices operating systems testing.
